Cookie Policy

Last updated

This page lists every cookie and browser-storage item this site uses — there aren't many — what each one does, and how to change your mind.

Our approach

The site defaults to the most privacy-preserving option. Analytics cookies load only after you click “Allow all” on the consent banner; dismissing the banner or choosing “Only necessary” keeps the site cookieless beyond the essentials below. We never use advertising cookies, and ad storage remains disabled even when you allow analytics.

Strictly necessary (no consent required)

These make the site work and store no marketing data:

  • ma-cookie-consent (browser local storage, kept until you clear it) — remembers the choice you made on the consent banner so we don’t ask on every page.
  • ma-qualifier (session storage, erased when you close the tab or submit the form) — saves your progress in the “Check your options” steps so a page refresh doesn’t lose your answers. It never leaves your browser until you submit.
  • ma-ref (first-party cookie, 90 days) — set only if you arrive through a partner link containing a referral code, so we can credit the partner who sent you. It contains the code and nothing else — no identifiers, no browsing history — and it is not readable by scripts.

Analytics (only with your consent)

  • Google Analytics 4 (cookies beginning _ga, up to 2 years) — loads only after you choose “Allow all”. We run it with IP anonymisation, and Google Consent Mode starts with all storage denied; only analytics storage is granted, never ad storage, ad user data or ad personalisation.
  • Visit counter — our own first-party page-view counter runs without any cookie or identifier at all: it records that a page was viewed, not who viewed it. It is not affected by your consent choice because it cannot identify you.

Third-party pages we hand off to

Some actions take you to another company’s site, which sets its own cookies under its own policy: Stripe (card checkout), Calendly (consultation booking), ScoreGuard and Neria (partner sign-ups), and CFTPay (dedicated-account enrolment). We link to each provider’s policy at the point of hand-off, and their cookies are governed by them, not by this policy.

Changing your choice

Clear this site’s data in your browser settings (usually under Privacy → Site data) and reload any page — the consent banner reappears and you can choose again. Blocking cookies entirely in your browser also works; every part of the site functions without analytics cookies.
