How to Get Business Credit Without Using Your SSN

Here’s what we’re going to talk about today. No PG (personal guarantor) needed for business credit. No business. You don’t even need a social. I’m going to give you the steps you need to get business credit without using your SSN.

The first thing we need to do is, to get business credit is we have to understand that there are steps in order.

Like say you don’t even have a business yet or say you do have a business, you’re going to want to follow these steps all the way through.

Because I’ve laid them out one by one, the top seven things that you need to do when starting your business credit venture.

Anything worth having that is great is going to take time.

This is not going to take two days and you’re going to have the whole thing complete.

You’re going to be out getting 15,000, $20,000 American Express cards.

So the first thing that you want to do is you want to get an EIN number. It is not a social.

It is an EIN number. It is very fast to get. Very, very simple.

Irs.gov and then there’s a forward slash and it’s going to take you through.

But you want to basically apply for an EIN number.

This process for somebody who has never used a computer before should take you five minutes.

You should have your EIN number in literally minutes. That is your first step.

Once we get our EIN number, then we need to move on to step number two, which is you got to get an LLC or corporation.

Now, here in the state of Florida, it is sunbiz.org. It costs about $135 to actually get the corporation.

Make up a name. Whatever name do you guys want to use? It doesn’t have to be … don’t get paralyzed thinking about a name.

Create a name that is catchy. Make sure … you can go right down the site.

They’ll tell you if it’s used or not. Sunbiz.org in the state of Florida.

Whatever you guys have in your state as far as the place where you go, you can actually get the corporation set right there.

They’re then going to send you your articles of organization in the mail in about seven days.

Now, that’s step two.

So now we’ve got our EIN number, and we’ve got our company.

Whether that is an LLC; Limited Liability Corporation or a corporation.

Maybe it’s a schedule S or C. Tax purposes, the corporations work a little bit better.

Protection wise, LLCs work better.

Now we’re going to move on to step number three and that is you guys are going to need an address.

It has to be a physical address. This address cannot be a PO box from one of those places where it has the PO box and then a number.

It has to be actually a physical location.

If you don’t have a physical location for your business, which could even be your house, you then can use something like a virtual office.

So a lot of people use virtual offices. Companies like Regis use these.

Small monthly fee and you can actually have this office where you can do meetings at, you can do group meetings with employees.

But if it’s just you, it is a virtual office.

You don’t actually have to go into it, but it has a real physical address for you to use for the corporation standpoint.

I’m going to walk you guys through the actual steps. EIN set up your corporation or LLC through your state. Sunbiz.org here in Florida.

If you’re not in Florida, find out what it is there.

Get yourself an address.

Next thing you’re going to need is a phone number.

We need a phone number so people can call us.

Let’s look at the phone number situation. You can use Google Voice, free.

And if you plan on scaling to have a business where people see like an 800 number, we use a company called Grasshopper and that’s actually where it’s a generated to 1-800 number.

So when you’re calling it, it looks legitimate, so you can use that company Grasshopper, small monthly fee on that.

But Google Voice is free and that’s also something that you will need to get.

So we got to get that as well after our address.

This is all going to take place literally within the same day.

I mean, you’re just going to go through the steps.

It’s not a long-drawn-out process.

After we get our address, then you need to build your public record.

Now, this is a little secret guys.

For you guys that don’t know about the public record build, you definitely want to jump on this train.

Here’s why. When you build your public record, you are putting yourself into a position where credit card companies are actually going to send you preauthorization forms.

They’re like little preapproval forms where it’s like, Hey, John Smith, you’ve been preapproved for this card.

Now the cool thing about that is they’ve already pulled your credit so it won’t cost you an inquiry, but you need to get in.

Listyourself.net. Get yourself into the public record.

That is a great way of putting yourself, you’re listing yourself, you’re listing your phone number and your personal information into the public record, which means that people can find you.

Credit card companies can find you. You’re a legitimate business.

So that’s your next step is to go ahead and get yourself into the public record.

Takes, I don’t know, a few days for it to actually sink in, but as this process is going on, you’re building a business, guys.

This is the whole purpose of this video is from a guy who’s never had a business to getting credit cards without a personal guarantor.

Even if you have shit credit, which we’re going to talk about, but these are the steps that you need to go with it so far.

The next step after is going to be Net 30 accounts.

Now, what is a Net 30 account?

A Net 30 account is basically suppliers. So once you’re going through those steps and you’re actually a business.

Let’s talk fast forward about a week from now. You’ve done all these steps I’ve talked about.

Now you’re going to want to go out and use Net 30 accounts. And you probably want to have at least five.

Here at our company, we use Pitney Bowes. Office Supplies.

How about Vista Print? These are Net 30 and what Net 30 means is they are willing to front the supplies and then you pay in 30, 30 days.

Gives you the chance to get the money together so you can actually make the payment. 30 days and not upfront.

So they’re called Net 30. You want to have a least five of those to start reporting.

Now as far as the reporting goes, it’s a little bit different than a personal side.

On the business side of things, you have Small Business Equifax, Small Business Experian.

You have the SBFE, which is the Small Business Financial Exchange, and you have the Dun and Brad. Okay, Dun and Bradstreet.

So those are your reporting agencies.

There’s no TransUnion on the business side of things. And what you’re trying to get is a higher Paydex score.

The higher the Paydex score, closer to a hundred, goes to a hundred.

So if you’re in that 80 to 100, your bills are being paid on time, you got A1 credit for your business, you’re going to start getting offers.

So follow these exact steps I’m talking about.

Now you can always check your report on nav.com. Nav.com, and I’ll put the link in the description for nav.com so you guys can have that as well.

But that’s how you check your business report to see where you’re at, to make sure these things are reporting to those major credit bureaus on the business side of things.

Now the other thing you’re going to want is at least five vendor credits.

Let me give you a few that are really good. Dell, Apple, Office Max, Home Depot, Lowe’s, they’re basically called vendor credit. Now they’re not going to have a Visa MasterCard logo on them.

You can use them at the store. Now, here’s the really cool thing about these. No personal guarantor. Zero.

This is based on what they call standalone. What that means is your business has been put in the public record.

You’d follow the steps that I just shared with you and now you’re applying for these credit cards and you will not be required to use your SSN.

They will based on the business credit by itself because you’ve already got your Net 30s on there, on your credit.

You’ve already put yourself into the public record.

You followed the steps, step-by-step, that I just shared with you. You have to go back to this video 50 times.

Make sure you do it and just follow the steps exactly what I’m telling you because as I’m telling you this, I went through the steps.

I’ve built multiple businesses in the same exact way. It works.

Now once you got your five vendor credits on there, so now we’ve got our five Net 30s posted to the credit bureaus.

We checked that on nav and now we’ve applied for say Home Depot, Dell, Apple Computer.

Maybe we got Lowe’s card on there, whatever. We got our five vendor credits posted.

We’re looking really good on nav right now.

Then guess what? No personal guarantor.

Now we can go to revolving lines of credit through the business. Only standalone. Meaning revolving line, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.

These lines where actually you can use anywhere, not just for the business supplies, like the vendor credit.

You can actually use … and I can tell you some tricks as well and things you can do where you can actually get vendor credit and actually liquidate those for cash as well.

Prior to actually getting the Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, I can show you how to get cash out of vendors as well.

Some cool tricks, and I’ll share with you on another video how that works.

But those are the steps you guys need to take.

This is for somebody who’s already in business.

Maybe you’re already in business and haven’t gone through these steps, or maybe it’s the first time that you’re starting a business.

Go through these steps as many times as you need. Get it right.

And if you’ve got great credit now and basically just take everything that I just shared, this is for people that are building business credit.

If you’ve already got a business and you’ve got good credit, reach out to us. We can help you.

I’ve got funding sources all over the nation that can help you.

You do not need to go through these steps if you’ve already done it.

If you’ve got a good personal guarantor, a strong person with a phenomenal social that’s got built up credit on a personal, you can still get business credit cards, but you’ll use your social security number as a personal guarantor.

Guys, I hope this helped. I really appreciate your time.

Again, go back to this videos as many times you need to make sure that you’re going through the steps exactly the way I put it in here.

So you can build your personal, you can build your business credit step-by-step and then you will not need to use your social if you do it this way.

You can get the credit cards just based on the business.
